Our company has built a lot of eCommerce site’s with WooCommerce and one thing that more than a few clients needed was the ability to send a customer and invoice and have a packing slip ship with their product. Some clients need both but some just need the invoice or the packing slip.
This WooCommerce tutorial shows how to simply setup a plugin that does both; PDF invoices and packing slips. The free plugin we’ll be using is WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips and the plugin author is Ewout and this person has created 6 other WordPress plugins.
Installing WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips
The first step is to install WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips from your PLUGINS > ADD NEW screen or you can download the plugin directly from WordPress.org by clicking here. Once the plugin is installed you will need to click Activate.
WooCommerce PDF Invoices & Packing Slips plugin ads a few columns to your WooCommerce Orders. You will see in the image below that there is a column for Invoice Number. In addition to the Invoice Number there is also a download button for the PDF invoice and PDF packing slip for that particular order.

Sorry, this Plugin doesn’t provide a way to bring it to the front-end. The PDF can be sent to the customer attached to their order email however.
